Central
Monitoring Station
Unlike many of our competitors, we operate our
own Grade A1, Quality Assured and SA Police Approved
Monitoring Center from within our Green Field
premises, so that we can provide a high quality
and consistent service at a reasonable price.
The only non-company resource that is utilized
on your behalf is the provision of the alarm attendance
service. We are able to provide alarm monitoring
for digital dialer systems, Securities Network
systems, GSM Backup mobile systems and the recently
introduced Direct Wireless system.
By connecting your alarm to our accredited and
quality assured Monitoring Centre, you can help
turn your investment into a far more effective
security system.
With a monitored alarm, changes in conditions
at a property can be communicated to our Monitoring
Centre and the appropriate response made.
With the right kind of monitoring solution it
is often only a matter of seconds from the alarm
being activated to our monitoring centre, instigating
a response to the intruder or burglar alarms,
personal attack or duress alarms, power failures
or faults, or a range of emergency situations
- from fire to flooding.
Digital Dialler
systems use one of your existing telephone lines
to communicate with our central monitoring centre.
This type of system represents excellent value
for money, however, the down-side is that the
our central monitoring centre will not receive
any alarms from the system and therefore be unaware
of the situation in the event of a disruption
to your telephone line.
Digital Dialler &
GSM Backup system is for use in high risk
situations or with clients who appreciate the
value of dual-path monitoring. The system is a
digital dialler and uses the standard telephone
line to communicate to our monitoring centre.
In the event the telephone line is lost the Control
Room will be aware of this as the PSTN Line Fail
message will be sent by GSM Network. Any alarms
that occur after that will be reported via the
GSM Network to our Control Room. The system continuously
monitors the state of the PSTN line and the GSM
connection. The Control Room also has the ability
to command the GSM unit in the client premises
if required.
Securitel Network
system still uses one of your existing telephone
lines to communicate with our central monitoring
station and is for use in medium to high risk
situations. The system is on-line to us 24 hours
per day but you are still able to make and receive
phone calls on this line. In the event the line
is lost, the central monitoring service receives
a message from the Network that the STU is not
responding.
Securitel has been designed in accordance with
the Australian Standard AS2201.5 class 4. Please note that Telstra will be terminating the Securitel Network from December 2009.
Direct Wireless
The recently released "Direct Wireless"
monitoring system is now connected and on-line
at our AlarmNet Monitoring, Grade A1 Monitoring
Centre at Green Fields and exclusively available
through AlarmLogic.
Direct Wireless is "the new standard for
monitored alarm systems" and is suitable
for domestic, commercial and high security applications.
